Our team has worked diligently to curate a content library that is largely unavailable on other platforms including works that have never been exhibited on television.  While our library enables us to provide a unique service to our subscribers, it does bring with it certain logistical challenges.  Among these is the challenge of adding closed captioning to works that have not previously aired on television with closed captioning.  While Shudder is not required to add closed captioning to such materials under current law, we are working diligently to ensure that all content on our service is available to our subscribers with closed captioning in the very near term.

To access the films and series in our collection that do have closed captioning, and if you are watching on our website in a web browser, you can enable CC in the video player by clicking the [CC] icon in the video player toolbar.

If you are watching on iOS, Android, Roku, Apple TV, FireTV, and Xbox, you may need to first enable captioning on your device---please check your device's guidelines.
