We consistently release updates to the Shudder player and apps to improve performance, necessitating that members re-log in.


If you’re experiencing issues, please make sure you:

  • Update to the latest app/browser version on all your devices, clear your cache and cookies for Shudder on your browser.
    • (Note: Deleting and reinstalling the app may not update the app. Please update the app from your appstore.)
  • Use your email address rather than your user name to log in. 
  • If needed, you can reset your password from the updated app or website.


Going forward, you will need to use your e-mail address to log in. You can no longer log in using your user name.
